Dining Suites NZ

Restaurant Dining Tables for New Zealand SuppliersDining Suites, or table and chairs, which include various styles, sizes, shapes, functional use, and construction materials are widely available in various New Zealand stores. Dining furniture are also manufactured locally, and also imported for commercial supply within NZ. For purchasing suitable dining tables and chairs, perhaps consider what type of dining furniture would be suitable. For example whether for a large family or small restaurant, bar (stools) , hotel wedding, or conference. Image of restaurant scene by c_mackow at sxc.

Perhaps some features to consider...

- Wood top - e.g. Rimu, Pine, Rubberwood, or Walnut, and imported timber table tops
- Glass Top (perhaps with chrome frame and legs) - can be clear, opaque, stained glass, or black,
- Laminated or composite table tops.
- Slate or marble top
* Table Shape and Size
- Oblong, Circular, Square, or Curved. Typical size for rectangular tables might be 150 cm x 90 cm, 180 cm x 100 cm, or 210 cm x 100 cm.

- This could be the standard small pedestal or square and rectangular legged tables. Also foldaway, extendability tables, accompanying draws or trays beneath, art deco tables, coloured themed tables, and other styled designs.

Table Layout and Combination Table Setup
- (Visit restaurant Table Layout at http://www.restaurantlayout.com/)
It's important to consider overall layout of tables, shape and styles, and what shapes should be mixed for placement within a restaurant, or outdoor eating/banquet area. For example, spacing between opposing chairs (i.e. back to back), and between table ends would need be considered and implemented to allow sufficient movement of clients and staff in regard to the overall size of the restaurant, lighting, degree and type and level of customer activity (whether large or small groups of diners, or others drinking in a nearby bar, and proximity of adjoining food serving areas).

Dining Accessories
Dining table accessories can easily add decorative and functional aspects for hotel/motel clients when dressing up a table. Whether for family or personal meals, business conferences, weddings, special occassions it is important to set the tables and surroundings suitably. This can include -

*Lighting - Suitable candles in metal holders, 3 to 6 piece candle holders, small or large, etc, to add a special significance. Also adjacent room lighting styles, ambiance, brightness, may also be considered in relation to the occasion.
*Linen - Includes colour, styles, and patterned table cloths, along with place mats, coasters, and napkins, to add to the occasion and could be seasonal or theme based.
*Food and beverage receptacles, and related accessories - The functional serving items to eat and drink from. Items include platters, trays, jugs, elevated bowls, dispensing sets, butter dishes, salt and pepper shakers, condiment, gravy, and sauce jugs or boat servers, and other related serving items. Placement of dining/eating items is important to allow easy access for diners, perhaps using a symmetrical layout for a long table or a central balanced pattern for a smaller table.
*Decorations - Party, birthday, wedding themes for example would require slightly different items, such as decorative cards, gifts, banners, gourmet foods, etc. to be set up on the table. Their are many NZ party suppliers and NZ gift suppliers to select from online.
*Central Table Position Items (Center piece) - Often most dining tables have center piece items relevant to an occasion. Anything from flowers in a vase for two person meal, to a large elevated food platter or cake for large or theme based functions. Again planning is required for customer satisfaction, and sometimes may involve additional center piece items along the table, or additional tables with another arrangement of center pieces.
